Become an egg donor and help those women who cannot conceive with their own eggs.
In addition, you will receive clear, detailed and free information about your physical and mental health and an assessment of your fertility.
What are the requirements?
We also inform you that:
Law 14/2006, of 14 May, on assisted human reproduction techniques establishes that donation must be anonymous, voluntary, informed and not renumbered.
Although it is altruistic, there is financial compensation for the donor for the inconvenience of the process.
What is egg
egg donation?
At Fertty we know that donation is an admirable act of great generosity, so we want to help you to solve all your doubts. We accompany you throughout the whole process, through the support of our medical team and we provide you with maximum availability in timetables.
Once we have received all the necessary information, we will carry out a complete and free medical, psychological and gynaecological assessment. This check-up is necessary to guarantee your state of health for the donation and allows you to have specific information about your general condition, reproductive health and genetic tests.
The donation process consists of stimulating the ovaries to obtain as many eggs as possible. Ovarian stimulation is performed by administering FSH and LH hormones subcutaneously for a period of 10 to 12 days.
Finally, the eggs are retrieved by means of a follicular puncture (from the ovaries) via the vagina under ultrasound guidance. It is a very safe, quick and painless procedure (it lasts about 10-15 minutes), performed on an outpatient basis and requires a small amount of sedation. After one or two hours of observation, you can go home and rest for the same day.
Once the procedure is completed, you will be able to lead a normal life, with menstruation occurring 5 to 6 days after the puncture.
Afterwards, you will go through a control to check that everything has gone well and to get your opinion on the process in order to improve it.
By becoming an egg donor you help other women who cannot conceive with their own eggs.
