The Association for the Study of Reproductive Biology (ASEBIR) is a scientific association aimed at promoting the study, development, and dissemination of Reproductive Biology. ASEBIR is composed of professionals in the field of Assisted Human Reproduction, both in basic research and clinical application, all trained in biomedical sciences (biologists, biotechnologists, pharmacists, chemists, biochemists, veterinarians, and doctors).

Among its main objectives are sharing knowledge and standardizing protocols among professionals, establishing technique learning programs, and promoting multicentric studies to facilitate research and improve assisted human reproduction techniques.

It also maintains collaboration with other scientific associations, both national and international, as well as with universities and health authorities.
Fertty maintains a close relationship with ASEBIR; all our embryologists are members of this association, allowing them to stay at the forefront of applied techniques, emerging innovations in Assisted Reproduction, and legislative updates.

Additionally, the association provides the Specific Quality Control Service for assisted reproduction laboratories. It is a national external quality control program that allows the laboratory’s quality to be verified using control samples and comparative analysis among assisted reproduction centers in Spain. Fertty performs internal and external quality control annually, ensuring proper operation and maintaining the excellence that characterizes us.
