“I am a professor in three prestigious Master’s programs: the International Master’s in Human Reproductive Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the Master’s in Breast Pathology and Senology at the University of Barcelona, and the Master’s in Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology, also at the University of Barcelona.

Since my specialization, I have sought to engage with major scientific societies at both the Catalan and national levels, aiming to contribute to the field of human reproduction by participating in opinion groups and collaborating in the development of consensus documents and review articles. I was a founding member of the Gynecological Endocrinology Group of the Catalan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I was also a member of the Interest Group in Gynecological Endocrinology of the Spanish Society of Fertility until 2011, and I am currently part of the Interest Group in Fertility Preservation.

In 2014, we took on an exciting challenge: organizing the XXX National Congress of the Spanish Society of Fertility. It was an unforgettable experience, sharing the organization of the congress with excellent professionals and great friends. It was a resounding success.”

When you start the journey of residency (MIR), at first everything seems interesting, you are open to all the opportunities that this specialty offers you, until I did my training rotation in reproductive medicine, there I was clearly sure that this was the field in which I wanted to specialize and where I would feel most comfortable. Helping couples achieve their dream being realized satisfies me enormously and makes me feel very useful.

When Juanjo and Miguel Ángel proposed that I work with them, the truth is that I didn’t think about it twice, in fact, I had already visualized that situation, it was like a “déjà vu”. The possibility of working in what you really like and also doing it with a group of friends who are great professionals, what more could you ask for!

I like to share the therapeutic plan with the couple, involving them in the decision-making, that’s how I believe a trusting environment is generated. Empathy, sincerity, information, and support are the keys to success.

Really yes, in personalized medicine, all of them are a source of inspiration, some for their complexity from a medical point of view, and others for their perseverance and resilience in the face of adversity, life lessons that you take home.

Whenever possible for me, outdoors and sharing it with my family and friends. Hiking, the mountain in general, gives me a lot of energy to face the new challenges that daily life presents us. Cooking also relaxes me a lot, putting a lot of love into culinary proposals and, of course, sharing them with good friends.

I consider myself sociable, accessible, transparent, and loyal to my friends. I must say against me that in certain situations I am a little rigid, I like things in a particular way, I am aware that flexibility is a great virtue, and the truth is that I try to improve this aspect.
